It's last call for the Nissan Altima hybrid sedan. The 2011 model year will be the last for the gasoline-electric version of the Altima, ending a four-year run. While the Altima is one of Nissan's core models in the U.S.
Last month I returned from my second consecutive Nurburgring 24hr race, so I was excited to be getting my first taste of Le Mans last weekend. Two very similar concepts, yet the endurance races at the Ring and Le Mans differ hugely, and both excite for very different reasons. I just hope they stay that way. The Jaguar XFR has quite astonishing - and controllable - performance
You start to wonder if Jaguar has screwed up and put the normally aspirated version of the potent V8 in the XFR. This can’t be an M5 competitor – it’s just too civilised. The ride is cosseting and compliant, but with an underlying – and reassuring – firmness.
